More flats coming to Finnieston?
Hampshire Pension Fund (their agent is Iceni Projects Ltd) has submitted a proposal of Application notice for the demolition of the existing building at 11 Minerva Way, the Nuffield Health Gym (formerly Virgin Active). Please note, this is not a planning application, but instead, an expression of interest.
Should the plans be taken forward it is our expectation that residential flats will be built. Let’s hope the developer ensures all new residents are aware that on-street parking permits will not be available with their purchase.
We await the announcement of if, when and where the formal plans will be displayed.

A Consultation event for the proposed residential development at 11 Minerva Way (currently, the Nuffield Gym), is to be held.
Please find the text we have received below..
“On behalf of our client, Hampshire Pension Fund c/o CBER Global Investors, we have submitted a Proposal of Application Notice (PoAN) in relation to the proposed development at Minerva Way, Finnieston. The proposed development is as follows:
Demolition of existing building and development of residential accommodation (class 9) and/or sui generis flatted development with associated access, landscaping, car parking and other associated works.
The associated consultation event will take place on Wednesday 20th February 2019 from 2pm to 7pm at Radisson Red, 25 Tunnel Street, Glasgow, G3 8HL.”
