Citywide Bus Lanes
(variation) order 201_
Glasgow City Council proposes to consider the introduction of the above named Traffic Regulation Order in terms of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Please note we have only included those roads within or near our Community Council boundary.
This Order will change the current operating times of
24 hour bus lanes to operate Monday to Sunday 7am to 7pm. The bus lanes on the following road will be affected:
Sauchiehall Street
This Order will change the current operating times of peak hour bus lanes (Monday to Saturday 7am to 9.30am and 4pm to 6.30pm) to operate Monday to Saturday 7.00am to 9.30am and 4pm to 7pm. The bus lanes on the following road will be affected: St Vincent Street
A copy of the draft Order, relevant map and Statement of Reason and report for proposing to make the Order are available for inspection 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday inclusive at:
Reception, Land and Environmental Services, Exchange House, 231 George Street, Glasgow, G1 1RX

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order must submit this in writing to Project Manager, Land and
Environmental Services, Exchange House, 231 George Street, Glasgow, G1 1RX or email land@glasgow.gov.uk and it must be received by Thursday 22 December 2016.
It is the responsibility of the person making the objection to ensure that the Council receive it by the date stated above.
Glasgow City Council asks that all persons making a written submission state their name and address.
All objections must be made in writing and must contain a written statement of the grounds of the objection.
