And so the fight to save a protected green space in our community begins.
As the original bowling club from 1860, this is protected Green Space through the City Council’s Development Plan and also the St Vincent Crescent Conservation Appraisal.
On the same day that the media reports parks and green spaces generate health benefits that would cost more than 34 billion pounds, developer Nixon Blue, wants to remove this from our community, for more flats!
The community must have the option to explore other green space uses for this site.
We fully expect Glasgow City Council Planning Department to abide by its own policies and refuse planning permission.
