Boy Racers at the Riverside Museum

12th September 2017

We have been informed by a number of residents that there are issues regarding ‘boy racers’ using the car park of the Riverside Museum.

We have been in touch with the relevant authorities and can confirm that recently, there has been a meeting at the Riverside Museum with representatives from the Museum, Community Safety, the Police and City Parking. A proposal has been made to stop the antisocial behaviour, and the departments involved are now arranging plans for this being put into place.

Update 16th November 2017

We are pleased to announce that with the help of the Area Partnership fund a gate has been installed and the car park is now locked. We would now like the views of residents to see if this has made a difference to the number of boy racers and associated noise. Please leave a comment beneath or email
