Sometimes, you request an improvement, forget you requested it and then get a pleasant surprise when it happens!
In January we requested to Councillors Nina Baker and Philip Bratt, improvements to the junction of Minerva Street and St Vincent Crescent. Many cars were driving at excessive speeds posing a danger to residents and visitors. This Monday (24th October 2016) we woke to find the junction being made narrower with an island and drop kerb being installed, creating a safe crossing point. It shows that whilst improvements can be slow in appearing, they do still happen. Many thanks to all involved.
Should you know of any other junctions requiring improvements, please get in touch.
